The last few weeks have lead me to begin a journey to be comfortable in my own skin. I've never had a Victoria Secret model body but I've always been confident being me. After Tatum that muffin top has proven to be even more stubborn than after Lola and left me self conscience. First thought, survival mode. Coffee....and some crash diet because summer is around the corner. Then I see this little ray of sunshine run by me. Her free spirit and love for life at such a young age put things in to perspective. Lola and soon enough little Tatum copy everything mommy does. There is no truer statement then "their mind is like a sponge". So I got my big girl panties on and decided that being healthy and happy we're my goal. I've been going to bootcamp a couple days a week and thanks to my mama friend Sheena I've been meal prepping. The best part about the meal prep is Lola loves it, and she's getting all her veggies. Yes I'd love to add a few more days to the gym but for now this is what's working and I'm keeping my commitment to myself. The 5am class is my trade off so I can spend time with my family at night.
The hardest part of the journey has been changing my mindset. Walking by the mirror and feeling proud of my body, what it's done, where it is, and where it will be. It's a conscience effort every day but I want my girls to be comfortable in their skin and proud of who they are.... And it's starts with their Mama 😘
