Everyone under the sun likes to preach "sleep while your baby sleeps"! Who does this advice come from and what does this well rested beauty look like?
This has never been advice I've been able to follow and the more mobile Lola got the more the thought of it alone made me laugh. Once you get a mobile baby you can't do anything without their helpful assistance. There's days I tell myself "today I will nap" and then the time comes and my self diagnosed OCD kicks in. Something comes over me and it's go time!
I do however consider myself a great multi-tasker so I clean and catch up on trashy tv at the same time ;). The house isn't perfect but it's tidy and that helps keep me sane. When shits everywhere, my crazy is top notch!
Of course when Lola wakes up that clean house doesn't last long because we play, I cook dinner, we shower and snuggle. It's the never ending clean/messy cycle.
